The young pullets are out in their own house. It felt so weird and scary having them spend the night out there. It is still cool at night here and some days, so we still use the heat lamp since they are still young and adjusting. They are loving the space they have though.
For now, my hubby has built them a bench type roost in their house, and a step in the corner for them to get up and down if they need it. The chicks are about six weeks and seven weeks old. They look like miniature hens. So cute! and they sleep on their bench, every one of them. It has gotten plastered already though with green, grrr....
Our Goal
To eat and provide healthier eggs that don't hurt our bodies like store bought eggs do. And better tasting eggs too! I also want to share my experiences and pass along what I find out along the way. I also pray insome way, that you are entertained or inspired, as well.
